A payment buys dynamic public placement under the leaderboard rules. Another profile moving above you is an expected service condition and does not by itself trigger a refund.
When we review refunds
We review legally required requests, duplicate charges, technical billing errors, fraud and administrator-approved exceptions. Provider and statutory deadlines apply.
Ledger effects
Refunds, disputes and chargebacks are appended to the payment ledger. When value supporting an active bid becomes invalid, the database rebuilds the active bid under lock so rank cannot remain funded by invalid payment.
