Terms of Service

Draft terms for Spotlist's paid digital directory and public visibility placement service.

Draft updated 26 August 2026

Service

Spotlist lets eligible adults and authorised company representatives create public profiles and purchase visibility placement. Payments are for access and placement in a dynamic public directory; they are not investments, deposits, wagers, or redeemable balances.

Rank is determined by active bid amount descending, then the time that amount was reached ascending, then profile ID ascending. Estimates are informational and are never reservations or guarantees.

Payments

The server reads the current active bid and charges only the difference to a higher target bid. A bid changes only after a verified provider webhook. Being outbid does not create an automatic refund right.

Taxes, invoices, payment methods and refunds depend on the selected provider, applicable law and the production merchant configuration.

User content and conduct

You must have rights to all profile text, media and links. Impersonation, illegal content, malware, harassment and manipulation of ranking or payments are prohibited.

Spotlist may review, suspend or remove content and accounts under the content policy, while preserving records required for fraud, disputes, tax or legal obligations.

Review required

These draft terms are product scaffolding, not final legal advice. Governing law, merchant identity, consumer cancellation rules, liability, dispute resolution and jurisdiction clauses require counsel before launch.
